Simple to put together - just a 3 piece launching pad that snaps together - 7 year old did it totally by himself, without looking at directions. We set it up on grass in the middle of a soccer field - and he pushed the button one time. Spun for a few seconds and then launched straight up in the air about 80 feet. Next launch, he pushed the button 2 times and it flew twice as high (and not quite as straight up.) Almost hit a few birds on the way up. Launched about 10 times total before we went home. Launched again in our back yard after ignoring my warning that it might get stuck in a tree. Landed smack in the middle of a nearby tree but we were able to shake it down. Phew! Definitely need a wide open space. So much fun. Recommend for any age group.

I NEVER write reviews, but I had to come back and write one for this! I ordered this for my son as a gift for his 5th birthday. THIS THING IS AMAZING!! And when they say it goes 164ft in the air that is no joke, it really goes that high. Thought the landing would be rough on it but the parachute actually works and helps it land pretty gently. I will note though that this is most definitely not a toy that can be used inside due to not being able to change how high the rocket will launch, it will just continue to bounce of the ceiling. It goes two heights, high and very high! Like 200 feet high! Great fun with small kids, it’s just a propeller, so pretty safe although I wouldn’t touch it when launching, it spins very fast. Worth a purchase though, it’s fun

This rocket is every bit worth the money! My grandson loves it so much he plays with it every chance he can. He broke the charging cord and Masie from customer service sent us a new one very quickly! Great customer service!! Thank you so much!
